My baby has been educating me for sometime now about the essence of punk rock music. He expands my world every day by introducing music to me that he loves and then explaining why. The first gift he ever gave me was Johnny Rotten’s autobiography , and then gave me PiL’s , “Cassette”, because I liked the song Rise. He made me fall in love with the music and his stories, and then he made me fall in love with him.

Highway Girl. She had a beautiful apartment. Actually it was a lousy apartment.
The property was cheap. She saved lots of money but she lost a lot of sleep.
We’d laugh and laugh. Take potshots at the passing cars.
Everyday we dumped a body. Every single day.
It was time to kill ourselves. Together we were a menace. Apart we were lonely.
I said “you know Pauline”..nobody stands on a burning bag of shit anymore”….
We had one rifle. One bullet. Put her head down and put the barrell in your mouth…i’ll stand behind you….you will die instantly…i will have agony.
We chickened out. We aren’t that bad. Life is ok. Then the door the rifle was ajar to, the door swung open and killed her.
